Art direction that lets an idea arrive intact.
We join competition teams and private residential projects as the narrative and visual lead, shaping the story, the drawings, and the presentation as a single craft. Our job is to make sure the strongest idea in the room is understood as such by the audience that matters: the jury, the client, the builder, the eventual public record of the project.
This is work for practices at competition stage, where a compelling argument, well framed, decides the shortlist, and for private clients commissioning a significant home, where the early design direction sets the tone for every subsequent decision. We work alongside the design team. We do not replace it.
Engagements typically include concept narrative, drawing set direction, image art-direction, and the competition or presentation package itself. The brief is usually the same whether the audience is a jury or a single client: translate the designer's intent into something the reader can feel before they can articulate, and hold that argument together across every surface the project is seen on. We bring a decade-plus of this work at the scale of a global architecture practice and on internationally recognised competitions, including first prize at the 2025 Dubai Urban Elements Challenge.
And, by the way, we can also deliver the images.
Fifteen years of architectural visualisation sits behind the studio. Where projects need rendering and animation, we produce it in-house, but only as part of a design direction engagement. Rendering alone is no longer the point.
Bespoke microsites for presentation.
For competition finalists and significant private commissions, we build dedicated project microsites: custom presentation environments that let a scheme argue for itself beyond the boardroom. Delivered as part of design direction engagements.
